Roy Marcum

Roy Marcum, 78, of New Haven passed Thursday May 25, 2023, at his residence.

He was born October 8, 1944, in Clay County Kentucky to the late Richard Marcum and Emma (Smith) Henson. He married Judy Ann Jordan, she preceded him in death on September 29, 2022.

Roy was a Master Machinist, he loved working on cars, hunting and fishing.

He worked at Arcola Engine Services for 22 years, retiring in 2008.

He is survived by two sons: Ronald R. (Michelle) and Kenneth W. (Cherrie) Marcum: two brothers Ralph and Troy (Marlene) Marcum: four grandchildren: Nicole Reed, Hilary Albainie, Brandon and Ashley McDowell: four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Rodney in 2012: two brothers James and Charlie Marcum: four sisters: Edith Smith, Lettie Swanigan, Ruth Lowe and Gracie Carter.

Funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday May 31, 2023, at Midwest Funeral Home 1414 West Coliseum Blvd Fort Wayne, IN 46808, with calling two hours prior to service.

Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery.
