Robert Allen Griffiths "Bob", passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022, at his home in Fort Wayne, Ind. Bob was born Oct. 17, 1942, in Rome N.Y., to Robert H. and Esther (Boddy) Griffiths. He graduated from South Side High School in 1961. Bob enjoyed playing multiple sports, watching sports and being the biggest cheerleader to his grandchildren, nieces, and nephew. If there was a bleacher to sit on, Bob was there supporting them all. Bob also enjoyed the lake and his boat. Bob enjoyed trying new things such as skydiving and a hot air balloon adventure. Surviving are his sons, Scott Griffiths of New Orleans, La., Terry (Kim) Griffiths of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and daughter, Peggy (Louie) Perez of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Alyssa and (CJ) Cazee, Ryan Griffiths, Ashley Griffiths, Andrew (Scarlet) Perez, Tyler Griffiths, Chloe Griffiths; and step-granddaughter, Delaney Smith; a sister, Rhonda Irven; and nephew, James (Jessica) Irven; nieces, Sherry (Jeremy) Ryan, Julie (Jeff) Harper; with several great-nieces and -nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert L. Griffiths; nephew, Marc Irven, and brother-in-law, Curt Irven. Per Bob's wishes he did not want any services or memorial. He did request for his ashes to be spread at the family cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Arrangements by Midwest Funeral Home & Cremation Society.
