Obituary
Michael Hieber, 78, of New Haven, passed away on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023. He was born on November 14th, 1944, to Rudolph & Mildred Hieber. He was a "Mister Fix It", always tinkering in the garage. He enjoyed working in the yard and with our roses, and was always a practical joker. He worked at Zollner Pistons for about 39 years, then he took a job at a Holiday Inn Express, doing maintenance for all three floors, for several years. He is survived by Rita (GudaKunst) Hieber, spouse of almost 59 years. Son; Matthew T. & Leane Hieber, daughter; Melissa (Bill) Meyer. Grandchildren; Mariah Hieber, Bryce & Tiffany Hieber, Breckelle & Sawyer Miller, Katie O'Daniel, great grandchildren; Javyn, Jalayna, and Briella Hieber. Eden & Judah Hieber. Cleo Miller & Ion The Way. Many nephews, nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers; William and Raymond Fark, sisters; Donna Shuler, Nancy Shadle, Geraldine Grover, Jerry and Irene Hieber, as well as David and Carolyn Hieber.
A Private Celebration Of Life was held.
