Mahesh Pratap Singh

Loving Father, Husband, and Grandpa; Mahesh “Mike” Pratap Singh, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, May 5th, 2023. He was born in Agra, India on April 10,1937, to the late Navnidh Pal Singh and Shiv Devi Singh.

He received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri.

He married, started a family, then settled in Fort Wayne with his family in 1968 where he worked at Magnavox, followed by ITT Aerospace before living a dream of his, owning a business, Rome City Auto Parts and Service, and living on a lake (Sylvan Lake). 

Mahesh enjoyed traveling, racquetball, dining with friends, shopping smartly, and hosting family and friends, especially at the lake. 

He is survived by his two sons; Raj (Melissa) Singh, and Dave (Ellen) Singh, his sister; Beena Singh, companion; Elizabeth Hightower, as well as six grand-children; Zoe, Eden, Katelyn, Michael, Anna, and William. 

He was preceded in death by Julia Ann Singh, Narendra Pal Singh, Shailendra Pal Singh.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed at 11:00 AM by ceremony and celebration of life, Friday, May 12, 2023 at Midwest Funeral Home 1415 W. Coliseum Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
