Lynne Crawford Obituary

Lynne Ann Crawford of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Wednesday May 11, 2022. She was born April 18, 1968 in Connersville, Indiana, daughter to the late Steven Crawford and late Sodonna Tuttle. Survived by her three children, Gemarcus ( Andrea) Crawford of Arlington, Texas, Shaletta (Robert) Russell of Bluffton and Nathaniel Crawford of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren; brothers Bill McDowell, Chuck McDowell, Ted Vaught, Sherman Vaught and Barry Crawford; Sisters Wendy Crawford, Daisy Dippel and Jill Crawford: along with numerous family and friends.
To know Lynne was to see Christ. She never knew a stranger and her love was extended in so many ways. She would give the shoes off her feet to help someone in need even if that meant she went without. She could make a stranger feel like a friend.
When she wasn't talking about her grandchildren , her favorite pastimes were reading and listening to the Bible, playing volleyball and being everyone's taste tester in the kitchen. She loved taking long walks & trips to McDonalds to socialize, drink her diet soda and people watch. She enjoyed working as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army and volunteering at the Rescue Mission.
She is also preceded in death by her grandson Amere Crawford.
"Three things will last forever- Faith, Hope , and Love- and the greatest of these is love."
1 Corinthians 13:13 NLT
