Lloyd Bryan “Unga”,69, of Montego Bay Jamaica, passed away on Monday July 24, 2023. He was born on March 4, 1954.
He was 1 of 5 children (Bertram Nelson, Everol Nelson, David Nelson and Cynthia Nelson). He was a dad and “pop pop”. He had so many titles to those who loved him. He had family and friends all over the world.
Lloyd was a gifted artist and a DJ. He painted many paintings, did leather work and jewelry as his main 3 art mediums. He loved listening to reggae and playing it on the radio as a DJ for the WELT. He also did some volunteer work with Access Fort Wayne. He was an amazing cook and loved to garden. He loved his dog Mocha and spending time with friends and family.
He never knew a stranger, had a wonderful smile, and wanted to leave an impression on the world, and he did that with the people in the community that knew him. His message to the world was, “I hope for a brighter tomorrow. A day when can pass every man and woman on the street and greet them with a smile.”
He believed that death is not the final chapter but that the spirit lives on.
His celebration of Life will be at the Allen County public library (900 Library Plaza Fort Wayne, IN 46802) on the 19th of August at 2 pm.
