Lesley Diane (Walker) Rothrock

Lesley Diane Rothrock age 79 of Angola, IN passed away on March 8, 2022. She was born on July 29, 1942 to Marjorie and Risdom Walker in Long Beach, California.
Anyone that knew Lesley had their lives enriched by her joyful, loving and generous attitude. She had the ability to make a friend out of anyone in a matter of minutes. She was the oldest of three children, her siblings being twins. Lesley was put in charge by her mama which was fine with the twins because Lesley was FUN! Growing up together they played outside roller skating, playing in the playhouse their grandpa built, and enjoying the stars at night.
Lesley was married in 1960 to Larry Lewis and they had 3 children: Lori, Lance, and Lawrence. She later married Paul Rothrock in 1981 and was happily married until her passing. Lesley was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and loved the Bible and it’s teachings. One thing Lesley was known for was her love and patience with children. She was a teacher's aide for many years in the California school districts and was admired by many for her ways of teaching and, again, making things FUN!
Her love of children never ended as even during her last weeks she wanted to be with and see her grand and great grandchildren.
Lesley is survived by her sister Marsha Obrien, and her husband Michael, her brother Morris and his wife Lynn, and her three children Lori, Lance, and Lawrence. She also has three grandchildren, Michelle, Adam and Logan and seven great grandchildren.
