Obituary

Kelsey Jean Vandermotten, 30, of New Haven, passed away on Thursday, May 11th, 2023. She was born on 08/03/1992 to Kimberley Vandermotten Englert and Andrew Vandermotten. 

 

Kelsey enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The time she enjoyed most was with her dog, Tucker. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, tending to her plants, and working at the United States Postal Service in Leo, IN. Kelsey was a bright light in so many lives.

 

Kelsey is survived by her mother Kimberley Vandermotten Englert, siblings Kaley (Jesse), Cara, and Sean, niece EmeryJane, nephews Rylan, Oliver, and Hunter, Godchildren Pharaoh and Keyan, and many lifelong friends.

 

Kelsey was preceded in death by her father Andrew Vandermotten, brother Kyle Vandermotten, stepfather Jeffrey Englert, and her grandparents.

 

Kelsey’s Celebration of Life open house will be held Friday, May 26th, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Riverside Garden Leo/Cedarville, 14701 Schwartz Rd. Grabill, IN, 46741. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Dolphin Research Center at http://dolphins.org.
