Obituary
Jim Garrison, 67, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was born on December 9, 1955 to James and Sandy Garrison. Jim had a love for cars, racing, and everything Chevrolet. You could always find him in the shop helping out a friend or family member with his unlimited knowledge of anything that required tools. When he wasn’t helping others, you could find him driving or customizing his beloved C5 Corvette. Jim also loved spending time with and walking his dog, Abbi.
He is survived by his daughters Jamie (Brad) Schaefer and Ashley (Ryan) Keebler, his girlfriend of over 20 years Wendy Snyder, and six grandchildren: Braxton, Claire, and Greyson Schaefer and Delani, Miles, and Maci Keebler who knew him as Papa. He is also survived by his mother Sandy Garrison, sisters Cindy (Stan) Huth, Deb (Dwight) Nieb, Mary (Tony) Bekkum, and Janet (Dennis) Wilson, three nephews and two nieces. Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Garrison and nephew, Joey Huth.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 on Friday, February 3. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, February 4th with calling one hour prior. All services will be held at Midwest Funeral Home, 1415 W. Coliseum Blvd.
