Helen Beard Obituary
Helen Louise (Lewis) Beard, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away on November 9, 2023, at Heritage Park Nursing Home.
She was born February 27, 1933 in Greensboro, IN to the late Edward G. and Regina (Millis) Lewis. Helen worked in retail for many years, her last job was a cook at St. Ann’s Nursing Home before retiring. She had a great fondness for animals, especially cats. Family was her greatest joy in life.
She is survived by a daughter Vicki (Jim) Hoffman; two son James (Kari) Dyer and Terry (Wendy) Dyer; eleven grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; two brothers Tim and Jackie Lewis. Preceded in death by infant daughter Eva Catherine Dyer; seven brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2023, at Midwest Funeral Home 1415 W. Coliseum BLVD Fort Wayne, IN 46808, with viewing two hours prior to service.
