Eric D. Armstrong

Eric D Armstrong, 48 of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away at home with family by his side from his long
battle with Cancer, on December 2, 2022. He was born October 18 th , 1974 to Earnest “Ernie” Armstrong
and Shirley Hubbard. He graduated high school from Leo HS in Leo, IN and college from Ivy Tech. For
years, he worked in the automotive industry as a car detailer . He owned Armstrong Designz and
remodeled houses. He worked concrete at Rousel Concrete. For the last few years he was the Survey
Party Chief for the Allen County Surveyor’s Office. He was a member of The Bald and the Beautiful
Bicycle Club and the “Breakfast Club” at Dash inn. He enjoyed bowling, nature walks, the beach, fishing,
couponing, Cornhole, hanging on Brackenridge Place, music, being around family and friends and of
course talking and learning about STOCKS. Did we mention STOCKS. Most of all, he loved his wife and
kids and grandkids. He is survived by his wife Heather Armstrong (Drown Zimmerman), children
Christian Armstrong (Mariah Hieber), Robin Armstrong (Tristen Shugart), Preston McElroy (Felicia
Ramon), Gabrielle “Gabby” Armstrong. Grandchildren Javyn, Jalayna, Briella, Nella, Baby and Noodle. His
mother and step father Shirley and Robert “Bob” Anderson, siblings Terrie Moser, Susan Carver, and
Obie Pierce along with several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his father Ernie Armstrong, sister Terri Armstrong, brother in law Richard
“Skip” Carver, and nephew Josh Moser.
