Demetrius Banks Obituary

    Demetrius "Boo" Banks, 46, of Fort Wayne, IN, Passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 18th 2024.
He was born on August 28th, 1977 in Beloit, WI. The son of Miles Listenbee and Brenda Listenbee. Demetrius attended Harding Highschool in Fort Wayne, IN.
He enjoyed playing spades and cracking jokes. He enjoyed cooking especially his famous ribs. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. Demetrius was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Demetrius is survived by his four children Da'Von (Michelle) Banks of Fort Wayne, IN, Derisha (Kyle) Cowger of Fort Wayne, IN, Daeshawna Banks of Fort Wayne, IN, Da'Lonnie Banks of Paulding, OH, three grandchildren, Kalvin Cowger, Ana' Lia Banks, Guinevere Cowger all of Fort Wayne, IN. Three brothers D'Mylas Listenbee of Tampa, FL, Damario Listenbee of Fort Wayne, IN and Miles Bratton of Fort Wayne, IN, Grandmother Gladys Banks of Moorehead, MN, five Aunts JoeAnne (John) Owens of Beloit, WI, Ellamae Banks of Moorehead, MN, Rosemary Smith of Beloit, WI, Charolette (Keith) Ingram of Beloit, WI, Tequila Holmes of Moorehead, MN, two Uncles, Ernest Banks of Beloit, WI, John Banks of Madison, WI. Special cousin Tijuana Sanders. A host of cousins, Great Aunts and Uncles, and many friends. 
He was preceeded in death by both parents, Aunt Peggy Brown, Uncles, Grandparents, Great Aunt and cousins.

There will be a service on Saturday, March 30th at 1pm at Midwest Funeral Home 1415 Coliseum Blvd. Fort Wayne, IN with visitation two hours prior.
