Deloris (Caldwell) Tolbert

Deloris (Cookie)  Tolbert was born in the holy union to the late Louis and Bobby Caldwell on 03/20/1950. Deloris
departed this life on June 3rd surrounded by her loving family at home. Deloris was a loving and devoted mother to her family.
Deloris accepted Christ at a young age, she was active at Israel CME where she played the piano and sang in the choir. She would share her talent with others by teaching the children in the community to play the piano.
Deloris graduated from Roosevelt High School 1969, Gary Indiana. Deloris had her daughter Chalondia Caldwell which she lovingly called her (Khandi .) She later married James Tolbert JR. In that union they welcomed James Tolbert lll. and Rafael Tolbert Sr. (Jada), Deloris later gave birth to her son LaMarr Tolbert (Kitoya)
Deloris was a loving mother and grandmother and great grandmother. She adored her children and gave them the best part of herself until her last breath. Deloris enjoyed spending time with her sister/friends and she enjoyed shopping and traveling.
Deloris leaves her family and friends to cherish her memories, her laughter, and love.
