Obituary

Betty Wilson, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022, in her home. Born July 20, 1935, in Flint, Mich., she was a daughter of Frank and Donna McFarlan. She worked at GM as an engineer. After retirement, she enjoyed reading and helping her husband train standardbred racehorses. Betty is survived by her husband, James Wilson; daughter, Teri Jenkins; and granddaughter, Shanna Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Donna McFarlan; two brothers, Donald McFarlan and Shirley McFarlan; sister, Lois Burdick; and son-in- law, William Jenkins. Prayer service is 3 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Midwest Funeral Home, 1415 W. Coliseum Blvd., Fort Wayne (IN 46808), with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, send donations in her honor to Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne.
